Meet Heather Anderson

Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist

Hi, I'm Heather!

As an anti-diet Registered Dietitian, I specialize in helping individuals navigate their relationship with food, body, and exercise. My work is centered around supporting those who are struggling with eating disorders and individuals who are seeking a healthier, more intuitive approach to eating all while ditching diets for good. My goal is to help you develop a peaceful, balanced relationship with food, free from guilt, shame, and restriction.

I believe our worth doesn’t come from what food we eat, what size we are, or how much we exercise. Additionally, I believe that how you feel about food is just as important as the food itself. We will dive deep into how our thoughts and beliefs affect our choices. I work with clients to foster self-compassion, cultivate mindfulness around eating, and guide them toward trusting their body’s innate cues.

In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding and addressing the emotional and psychological aspects of food, while also making space for body image work and joyful movement. I’m here to support you as you embrace your body, your needs, and your life, creating a sustainable path toward health and wellness that is rooted in kindness, not perfection.

I specialize in treating Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder,  ARFID, and OSFED.

My experience across various levels of eating disorder treatment centers provides me with a unique perspective in this area.

I spend my free time with my husband and Australian Shepherd, and teach Spin classes

I’m looking forward to working together!
